Yin Yoga
This is a slow, more feminine class where we held postures for anywhere between 3 to 6 minutes.
This is a counter balance to our Yang practices (like Vinyasa or Ashtanga) and allow us the time to work with the Fascia (connective tissue in the body) to slow down and stretch open.
We work with the meridians (energy lines and channels) in the body and also deeper self-enquiry and opening the heart (Anahata chakra).
It includes warm ups, held asanas, Shavasana and meditation :)
